Doesn’t save changes and reverts back to default

I’ve had this app on my ipad for at least a year. I liked the layout of it and can easily see my different calendars on one. However, I just started keeping my husband’s schedule on this app and it will not save changes I make to his events. It’s a rotating schedule every 3rd day. I do not need an alarm to annoy me every 3rd day. I just need to see what days he will be working. I change the event to no alerts for all instances. I click done and go right back to it to check and its back to having a 1 day alert.
I like the app otherwise. But this is a big deal for me as I keep 5 different working calendars on it. My phone will be buzzing all the time. And it wastes my time having to double check to see if my changes have been saved.
