Key Features Missing

I have Planner Plus on both my iPad and my iPhone - I am satisfied with both apps. I love that my tasks all sync through dropbox, and it works wonderfully. Why doesn’t the desktop version also sync my tasks?! Apple created beautiful calendar interfaces for iOS and OSX, why do I need a less impressive version for my desktop? I want all my tasks and notes to sync across all my devices, is that too much to ask!?
